About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I am traveling to Australia with connection in Beijing.

Arrive at Beijing at 14:45 and leave at 00:50, I am aware I need a transit visa but how do I go about this? Do I need to take any certain documents with me?

Leah, if you hold a UK passport and you will fly from UK to Beijing and then onto Australia within 72 hours, it's possible that you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy in Beijing. In this case, no transit permit is required for you. You can just take your onward flight ticket and passport.
