About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If you already have a Chinese Visa is it necessary to take 72 hour free transit?

Travelling with family (who do not have Chinese entry permit) and transiting in Beijing. I have a Chinese entry permit valid for 10 years. When applying for 72 hour free transit do I need to apply as well with family or can I go out on my 10-year one? What is the implication on my entry permit if I take or not take the free transit?

Kabada, you don’t need to apply for the 72 hour free transit. You can just use the 10-year entry permit for your transit in Beijing. There won’t be any implication. Don’t worry!
