About:Chimelong Tourist Resort

Hi, would like to know the best option to travel from Guangzhou Hotel to Chimelong safari.

How far is it? Would it be better to take a taxi or by metro? There are 5 of us including a ten year old boy. We would like to stay on for the evening international circus. How do I buy combo ticket for both? Are there any agency that provides service in getting the tickets and dropping and picking up? If no, will there be transport to get back to the hotel after the circus ends at 9pm? If taxi, what will the fare be? Thanks.

The distance is about 11 miles (17km). You can take metro line 2 from Haizhu Square to Huijiang Station. Then, take a taxi to it for about CNY 20. Or, you can take a direct taxi. The fare may be around CNY 50-60. Please note that one taxi can hold four passengers at most, so you need to take two. You can follow the same route for the return trip. There will be taxis and metros avaiable after the circus.

You can buy the tickets at the official website. Or, you can ask your hotel to book the ticket and pick you up and drop you off. :)
