how far are the 2 airports

Question

If I fly via Shanghai, how far are the 2 airports and is there a train connecting the 2 airports and how much time is required? I am flying Singapore airlines and normally quite on time record.

It is quite far from Pudong airport to Hongqiao airport. You can take Subway Line 2, which needs more than one hour between the two airports. Or you can take the airport shuttle bus Line 1. It departs every 20-30 minutes. The whole journey will takes about 1.5 -2 hours. In case there is traffic jam, it may take longer.
