About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Hong Kong to Shanghai to US
In October I will be flying from the US to Hong Kong, from Hong Kong to Shanghai, and then from Shanghai back to the US. We will be in Shanghai for roughly 72 hours, but would love to get 144-hr free transit visa just to be safe. We will be at Shanghai Disneyland the entire time (except for exploring the main part of the city for a few hours). From what I've read it sounds like this would be fine since we'd be entering from a different area/country than we'd be leaving to. Is that accurate? I don't want to get to Shanghai just to be told no and have to spend three days in the airport.
