about invitation.

Question

I am an expertrate here in china and i want to invite my wife and kid to china. What are the doccuments i should send them for applying for the visa? My kid was born here in china and my wife has been here before. Just asking cos the laws always changes.Thanks

Bobby, if you have Chinese residence permit, you can ask them to apply for the S type to enter PRC and stay with you. You need to send them these documents: copies of your passport and residence permit in PRC, and an invitation letter from you. They need to prepare those documents: passport and its copy, the application form, a recently-taken half-length color photo, and relationship certificates (marriage certificate and birth certificate).
