About:China Visa

i am a student in Shandong province of China. i am from India and my friend is from Ghana.

we would love to visit Hongkong and Macao during this summer, but a lil confused about the visa requirements. do we have to apply for an entry permit even when we have a residency permit for China? Please reply

Hi Regalia, for you, you can enjoy the 14-day free entry in HK and 30-day free entry in Macau. Your friend needs both the visas for Hong Kong and Macau. She or he should apply for the HK visa in mainland at the HK Beijing Office or send the application to HK Immigration Department by post. Macau visa can be got upon arrival and valid for 30 days.
