About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

I'm travelling MNL-GSO, transiting PEK, with Air China and United.

I called our local Air China office and I learned I need to collect my luggage in PEK and re-check-in. Am I getting out of immigration to collect my luggage and needed to get a Chinese visa? Thanks!

You will transfer from International to International. Generally speaking, your luggage can be delivered to the final destination directly. You are advised to reconfirm this with the airline company.
Anyway, you can collect your luggage at 2F, T3-C after getting out of immigration.
If the transit is within 24 hours, no visa is required.
