About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

I have been asked provide letter from the consular's office to take ashes(cremated remains)

I have been asked provide letter from the consular's office when I spoke to the Cathay pacific airline office, in order to be able to take ashes (cremated remains of my mother in law ) from Melbourne to Colombo via Hongkong. Do the consular office provide such a letter?.

Abbey, I think the consular office can provide such a letter. You can just go there and ask for it.
