About:China Visa Application in UK

Visa cancelled

Hi, in September 2015 I was issued a student residency permit for Wuhan, valid until 2018. I had to leave China and cancel my study to return home after a few months. Although now I would like to go back to China to visit, but the cost of a new tourist entry permit is high. I am wondering what is the likelihood that the university/embassy cancelled my residency permit without me knowing?

Once you leave PRC, the school may inform the exit and entry administration to cancel your residence permit. So if you want to visit PRC now, you had better apply for an entry permit ahead of your journey, just to be safe.
