About:Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago

Please clarify for me, is it that I have to present an Airline Ticket with other documents

It depends on what type you apply for. For X, Z, Q and M type, you don't need to present airline ticket bookings. For tourst L type, if you don't have an invitation letter, you should show round-trip tickets and hotel bookings.
