About:China Student Visa

Bank statement required amount for study in china

I applied in china for PhD study and selected for tuition free scholarship only. But in my visa application form (JW202) they have mentioned that i am self supporting student. But on admission notice they write i am qualified for tuition fee scholarship. I also personally contact university, they told me I don't need to pay any tuition fee on my arrival.
My question is how much amount in Chinese Yuan is required to show in my bank statement. Do embassy considered it as partial scholarship or self support? I make calls embassy many times but no one answered?
Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Rashid, as far as I know, there is no exact requirement for how much money you should have in your bank savings account. If you have got the scholarship to pay the tuition fee, you just need to make sure that you have enough money to support your life in PRC. Your daily expenses may not be included in the scholarship. You need pay for it by yourself.
The embassy hot line is busy in most cases, so it’s hard to get through. If you still have doubts, you can go there in person and inquire about that problem.
