May I know after taking the cable car up to the the mountain, how do I go back to the entrance/exit at Wulingyuan (I am staying there)? I do not want to take the cable car down and pay a return fare. 1. Is walking down the only option? If I have to walk, how long does it take to walk down?2. If there is a bus, where do I catch the bus back to WLY? What time is the last bus from the top of the mountain?

You may walk down to Ten-mile Gallery (about 1.5 to 2hours). Then, take an environmentally friendly car to Wulingyuan Wujiayukou Ticket Check. The buses operate until 17:30.

Thanks for your reply Joe. From your reply, I gather there is no bus transportation from the mountain top to the valley to Wujiayukou Ticket check. It is either walk down the 10 Mile Gallery or take the Tianzi Shan cable car down. Is the 10 Mile Gallery steps all the way down or just a walking path? Would it be slippery if the ground is wet? I have elderly and children with me. :-)

It is just a walking path. It would not be slippery. Don't worry! The scenery along the way is quite intoxicating! Have fun! :)
