About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Crusing with Pincess to Australia beginning in Beijing China. Do I qualify for72 hr free visa?

Flight to Beijing from Detroit Michigan with a possible 24 hour hotel stay before boarding the Princess ship

You don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit. But if your layover time in Beijing is less than 24 hours, you can use the 24 hour direct transit there.

Thank you tyler. I thought that was the case; however, i was concerned if it was valid for me as i will need to leave the airport for land transfer to the ship. I will be a lot less than 24 hours in beijing, china. Is there any thing i have to do to make sure i won't run in to any problem?

You can apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport, and then you can leave the airport to the port to take the ship.
