About:China Visa Application in UK

Requirements for Visa (L)

Hi, for the supporting documents to apply for a L type (tourist), will the following 2 documents suffice?

1. Round trip air ticket booking record
2. Proof of hotel reservation

Apart from the two documents above, I don't have a planned itinerary or an invitation letter.

Alex, proof of round trip air tickets and hotel reservation is enough to be the supporting documents. The invitation letter is not necessary.

Thanks Rex! We did go to the entry and exit office to ask about it, they told us the law does say if you were married for 5 years and stayed in China for at least 9 months in a row each year, you could get permanent residence, BUT they don't honor that in this city. What shall I do?

Terry, which city you went to? I think you had better go to the hometown of your spouse to apply for permanent residence.
