About:Shenyang Taoxian International Airport

What is the easiest way to get from Shenyang Airport to Tonghua?

Is it ok for somebody who can speak only a little mandarin?

You may take shuttle bus Main Railway Station Line to the terminus. The buses are available from 7:50 to 20:00 at intervals of 40 minutes, and the trip takes about 1 hour. The fare is CNY 15.5. Then, take a train to Tonghua (about 7.5 hours). You can make it. Don't worry! :)
