what is the best way to get from the cruise terminal to the train station in yichang?

How long should I allow between the time the ship docks and the time the train leaves?  Are the ships on time or sometimes late?

Dear Diana, the Yangtze Cruises are usually on time (hope you refer to that). Don't worry! I am wondering if you refer to local East Railway Station. If so, the best way is to take a taxi. It takes around half an hour and the fare can be CNY60 or a little more. It is suggested to spare around 1.5h to catch your train in case. Also I saw official shuttle buses wait near the dock. If your time is enough, you can also take it to downtown and then catch a cab to the railway station. Regards,Steve
