About:China Train

Can I buy at different station from where I depart?

My hotel is next to the Shanghai railway station and we would like to travel to Beijing. Can we buy the tickets here if the train will goes from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station?

Normally, you could. I tried to buy at Beijing station but depart from Beijing west, successfully.
