long distance bus from lijiang to guangtong north

Question

Hi, is there a long-distance bus I can take to Guangtong North (which is the second to last stop on the train ride to Kunming, before Lufeng). I am not sure if the bus route to Kunming actually goes through Guangtong North. Problem is train to Guangtong North offers hardseats only on lower bunks of hard sleeper (3 hard seats to a lower bunk), which will make the train ride extremely crowded. Trying to find alternate way to get to Guangtong North, short of taking a taxi.thanks,

I am afraid that there is no direct bus service between the two. You may take a bus to Chuxiong from LJ Passenger Transport Station. The bus departs at 10:10, and the trip takes about 6 hours. The fare is CNY 155. Upon arrival, take a taxi to Chuxiong East Passenger Transport Station for about CNY 10. Then, take a bus to Guangtong (about 30 minutes). Upon arrival, walk north for about 200 yards, and turn right. Walk east for about 40 yards to Guangtong North Railway Station :)
