Maryna, this itinerary doesn’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit. But if your layover time in Shanghai and Kunming is less than 24 hours in total, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. In this case, no entry permit is needed either. Otherwise, a transit G type or tourist L type is needed.
