About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

I have a double entry Tourist L type valid for 30 days each entry

Hello!
i was wondering if I apply to have my visa extended after being in China on my first entry for 20 days, does this mean I would have 50 days in total for the first entry? I.e would I have 50 days before I'd have to exit PRC and start the new entry valid for 30 days.

Thanks!

Alex, if your extension is approved, you can probably stay in PRC for another 30 days, and so you can stay in PRC for 60 days in total for your first entry.
