About:China Customs Declaration

I will be carrying 55000 CNY cash of my scholarship money. How much will the declaration cost ?

What documents do I need ?

According to the rule, one can take CNY20,000 cash at most without declaration. Otherwise, it should be checked at the customs.
If it exceeds too much, it may even be confiscated. CNY55,000 is really a large amount, you'd better save a part of it in your bank card. There is no cash limit for the cards.
