About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be travelling with an Australian passport flying from Siem Reap to Sydney via Guangzhou. Rath

I will be travelling with an Australian passport flying from Siem Reap to Sydney via Guangzhou. Rather than waiting over 10 hours at Guangzhou airport i am thinking of exlporing the city. Am i allowed to get a free transit visa?

Opensky, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. You need to apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at the airport, and then you can leave the airport and explore the city.
