I'll go Xinjiang by train from Chengdu . How much does it cost ? And how long ?

I see a report that this place has season of cherry blossom in July . Is it real ? And where I can go to see it?
I'm not Chinese. So if I go Chengdu, I must have visa, i know. But i don't know if I go there, I must have another visa or not and how could I get it?

XJ covers a very large area. Are you going to Urumuqi? If yes, you can take a train from Chengdu The trip takes about 46.5 to 48 hours. You need to pay CNY 313.5 for a hard seat; CNY 529.5 for a hard sleeper; CNY 834.5 for a soft sleeper. Actually, you are advised to travel by air (about 3.5 hours). The price of the flight ticket varies greatly according to seasons.
