About:Chongqing Travel

How is the weather in end oct or early nov in chongqing?

I got information that it is a raining season in autumn time. How is the temperature?

Which area is better and convenient? staying around Guangyin bridge or Jiefangbei area ?
I prefer the hotel walking distant to the Metro for travelling to some tourist spot, near to
food street and wet market and shopping centre.
Any vegetarian restaurant/shop in the city?

Please recommend good and cheap hotel as my budget is about $60 for twin bed with window.

It may be cloudy and rain lightly sometimes. The temperature may range from 55F to 70F. You are advised to take light jackets, shirts, pants, and an umbrella.

It will be better if you stay at Jiefangbei area. You can consider Yangtze Island Hotel at No. 82-1, Zourong Road, Yuzhong District. A standard room costs CNY 400 (60 dollars) per night. You can book a room by dialing 86-023-86308888. The hotel is adjacent to Linjiangmen Station, Metro Line 2. There are many shopping malls, markets, and restaurants nearby.

For vegetarian food, you can go to Shi Tou Dong Restaurant at No. 15, Linjiangmen. It is about 0.6 mile to the west of the hotel. You can walk there within 10 minutes.
