What clothing should travellers bring during the first 2 weeks of September in Urumqi?

I will be joining the Silk Road tour at that time.

It may be sunny and rain sometimes. The temperature may range from 50F to 80F. It will be dry, and the temperature fluctuate greatly between day and night.
