About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

In Transit in Beijing - Air China 880 AR at 17:10. Dep with Air China 979 at 19:35.

Canadian traveller from Montreal, CA arriving in PEK at 17:10 (T/3) and departure from PEK (also T3) to Bangkok, Thailand at 19:35. A layover of 2h25 should be sufficient time. Does point #3 above apply in this case? In other words - stay in transit area without going through border formalities...etc? What is the most convenient way for Canadian traveller just passing through and taking a connecting flight with same airline?

Thanks for your assistance.

You need to go through immigration, but it only takes several seconds.
Here are the procedures: Fligth Arrival- Transfer Procedures-Stamped on the Boarding Pass- Security Check- Customs Inspection- Waiting and Boarding.
Your flight arrives on 3F, T3-E, and departs from 2F, T3-E. There are escalators and English guiding signs for your convenience. By the way, the minimum connection time is 60 minutes. Don't worry! :)
