Is it possible to apply chinese visa for a malaysian 11 years old boy from India

My sister is a indian married to malaysian, has a son 11 years old born in malaysia carries Malaysian passport. For past 6 years he is doing his schooling in Indian with his mothers support.
She wish to visit PRC (Shanghai) for a short time 30 days or less. Is it possible to apply chinese entry permit from india to her son (Non-indian minor), he has malaysian passport valid till 2021, Birth certificate, PIO, school bonafide.

is it possible to apply chinese entry permit from India for a malaysian 11 years old boy?
Please let me know the procedures and further requirements!

Yes, it's possible to apply from India. In addition to his birth certificate, PIO, school bonafide, he need to prepare a valid passport, a copy of the passport, a fully filled application form, a bare-headed photo taken within six months, and perhaps a consent letter from his father and the father's passport. After all documents are prepared, go to the CVASC office in your residence area to apply.
