Residence Permit Expiry July 30, 2016

Hi. My residence permit expires on July 30. Until when can I re-enter PRC? To avoid hassle, I plan to just renew my residence permit once I get back there I work in a public high school and will stay in the same employer.

Usually, you should re-enter PRC at least 30 days prior to the expiry date of your residence permit because you should extend your residence permit 30 days earlier before it expires.

Actually, I already have my Foreign Experts Certificate renewed. So, I only need to go to PSB when I get back to PRC to submit my passport, Foreign Experts Certificate, and Physical Exam results. Will I still be able to re-enter PRC even a few days before it expires? (3 days before?) Will the immigration officer at the airport allow me to upon arrival? Thanks a lot.

Rosie, if you enter 3 days before it expires, I’m afraid it’s too risky and the immigration officers may not allow you to enter.
