About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai Disney

I would like to travel to Shanghai from August 12-14 to go to disneyland. I'm looking at the 72 hour policy and wondering if that would apply to my situation and how I go about getting it? I currently live overseas in Japan, military affiliated.

Pashence, if you want to use the 72 hour free transit in shanghai, after staying in Shanghai for less than 72 hours, you should fly to a third country or region rather than the last one you fly in.
You just need to inform the carrier before you board the plane and then apply for it after you arrive at the airport.
