About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

Applying for Multiple Visas

Our business is planning a trip for approximately 60 employees to visit a factory in Changzhou. We will also tour while in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin). Can I bring all 60 applications into the CVASC office in Calgary? Do I need a letter authorizing me to submit the applications on their behalf? From reading this website, I am thinking that we will need to apply for "L" Type. Is this correct? We will be in PRC for approximately 10 days. Am I correct in assuming that the cost will be Visa Fee + Application Service Fee + Postal Fee = $100 + $42 + $20 = $162 per person?

You can take all 60 applications to the CVASC in Calgary to apply for all the employees. The authorized letter is not needed if there is no any requirement from the consular officers.
You’d better apply for a business M type for this trip. It will cost CAD 142 per person if you submit the application in person. It will cost CAD 158.8 per person if you post your application there.
