About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Going to 2 cities but staying less than 24 hours

I am scheduled to fly into Shanghai on July 6th evening and then fly to Xiamen in July 7th morning for few hours before leaving to Seoul on July 7th afternoon. In total, I would be in China for about 18 hours. Doe this mean I do not need a visa since I am in China for less than 24 hours?

PC, if you travel is like that, the entry permit is not needed because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in PRC.
