About:China Visa Exemption

24 hour visa free--transit through 2 airports in China

I am a citizen of the United States.
I have a flight from BKK, Thailand to SFO, United States .There is one transfer in Guangzhou and one short stop in Wuhan.
Am I eligible for free transit service? I will be leaving the Chinese airports within 24 hours.

I will not be leaving the airport in Guangzhou and Wuhan; all transits will be made by air. I know I can't use the 72 hour free exemption because there are multiple airport stops in China.

Stephanie, if the total transit time in Guangzhou and Beijing is less than 24 hours, no entry permit is needed because you can use the 24 hour direct transit.
