About:Hard Sleeper

Change from hard seat to a hard sleeper

I have booked a train ticket from Lhasa to Xi Ning and accidentally chose hard seat instead of hard sleeper. Is it possible to change the ticket to a hard sleeper one when I've boarded the train?

if the sleeper still available now, you may try to make the change at the station directly in advance. If it sold out at this time, you may try to make the upgrade as you mentioned. If there are other passengers who cancelled the tickets at last minute you may able to make the upgrade onboard. Good luck!
