About:Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia

my passport will expire on oct 2018, do I have to change it to get five year education visa? only three year left to expire, can I use the current passport or is it a must to change ?

Haime, usually, only when your passport has a remaining validity of less than 6 months can you renew it. So I’m afraid you cannot change your passport now and you don’t need to change it. You can use your current passport.
