Do I need visa for a 48H tourist visit to Shanghai?

Hello
In August 2016 I am visiting Shanghai for just 48 hours by plane. Will I need an entry permit? or can I apply for one at the shangai airport. I am a Spanish national.

Pablo, if your travel route meets the requirements of 144-hour free transit in Shanghai, you don't need an entry permit. Otherwise, you should get one prior to this trip.
