About:Shanghai Sightseeing Bus

I'm staying at the Yitel hotel, where's closest place to buy tickets for Shanghai Sightseeing Bus?

NOT the big bus. Could you also recommend what all to cover if I've got just the one day? And what's the best Food Street where I can get scallkok pancakes and pork dumplings and all the local but hygienic goodness and how to accommodate it into the sightseeing?

There are several Yitel Hotels at the city. Do you refer to Yitel Hotel West Yanan Road? If yes, the nearest spot is Middle Huaihai Road Commercial Street at No. 158, Middle Huaihai Road. You can taxi there for CNY 20-25.

By the way, the one-day bus ticket costs CNY 30. You can cover Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Century Square, the Bund and City God Temple.

For food, you can go to the City God Temple area, which is covered in the bus route. :)

We're at the Yitel hotel in Chuansha New Town, because we were visiting Disneyland for 2 days, so I'm guessing taking a taxi to people's square would be expedient?

Oh, I have found your hotel. The nearest spot is Dongchang Road Ferry Terminal Station, about 17 miles (27km) away. You can taxi there for CNY 90-100. Or, you may take bus line 977 from Beishi Street East Huaxia Road Station to Dongchang Road Ferry Terminal (Dongchanglu Dukou) Station, and you can find it. ;)
