About:China Visa Exemption

Myanmar Passport Holder 24 hours transit visa at Shanghai

Hi We are holding a Myanmar (Burma) passport traveling to Jeju island South Korea and I have a transit in Shanghai. Our arrival time to Shanghai at morning 6:15 am and our connecting flight depart to Jeju island ( South Korea) at 4:00 pm at the same day and the same airport.
Can we able to get a 24 hours direct transit for sight seeing before connect to the our second flight ?
If can, what are the procedure to follow ?

Mei, you are able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. After arrival, you can follow the direction boards and apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport immigration inspection office and then you can leave the airport to go sightseeing.
