About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How do I apply for the 144hr visa free transit for Shanghai - cruiseship tourist?

My husband and I will be embarking (Princess Cruises) at Shanghai Port on 15th October just for one day. We are planning a 3-4 hour City Tour and disembarking in the evening. How do we apply for a visa? What is the procedure? Can we apply for the 144hr free transit option?

Amy, if you will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from after staying in Shanghai, you can use the 144 hour direct transit in Shanghai. In this way, no entry permit is required.
