About:China Visa

Do I have to apply for my China Visa in the US or France for my trip France > US > China?

Hi,

I'm a French citizen.

I'm going to study two years in China in fall 2016. Meanwhile, I will travel to the United States.
My trip will be : France -> US (2 weeks) > China.

Should I apply for a china visa for student in the China Embassy in the US or in France?

Abby, since you will travel in the US for only two weeks, it's still advised to apply from France. It will be easier if you apply in your home country in most cases. By the way, you need to go to the CVASC office rather than the China embassy.
