About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I land at PVG at 1410 and have friends arriving a few hours later at 1720.

Will I be able to get to an the international airport lounges instead of leaving the airport?

Oh, but the International Lounge/Hotel is at the International Departure Hall after the security check. So you cannot stay there. After landing, you can stay in a cafe or resto in the public area to wait for your friends. When their flight lands, you can even go and pick them up at the greeting area.
