guangzhou airport to south railway station

Question

Hi, I will be arriving in the city on the 18th july at 16:55 from Brisbane AU. I want to go to the south railway station to catch the fast train from there to Guilin. I have to be at the railway station by 19:30 to buy my ticket. Can you  tell me if i am going to have enough time to get from the airport to the railway station by shuttle bus please?

Hi, you should know that there is no shuttle bus that can directly take you from CAN to the railway station. Subway is highly recommended instead. Take line 3 at the airport to Jiahewanggang and transfer to line 2, which arrives at the South Station. The subway journey takes about 70min, and you need 30-60min to check out. So you can catch that by 19:30. But the train tickets may be sold out, so consider booking it online in advance.
