About:Chinese Currency & Money Exchange

Can I bring 10,000 USD to China and can I use cash to pay for train fairs and hotel fairs?

And I want to visit beijing for a month and the hotel I want to stay it cost 6,477 USD and I want to buy clothes sneakers.

You can take at most USD10,000 to enter CN. But you need to apply for a permit for carrying this large amount of cash before you leave your country. Declare the cash at the customs to take check.
Actually, there is no need to take this amount of cash with you. You can open up a Union Pay card and store your money on it, for most ATMs in CN can provide service for this kind of cards. It can be very convenient.
As I know, US dollars cannot be used to buy train tickets and most hotels don't receive dollars either. For your convenience, you are advised to exchange it to CN notes at a BOC counter.
