Is it possible to trek the great wall from Beijing to the Bohai Sea?

According to my knowledge, Laolongtou section in Hebei Province meets the Bohai Sea. But there is no way to trek from the Wall in Beijing to Laolongtou, for the Wall sections are broken in between, and some parts are severely damaged. It is not safe. On the other hand, it would take several days hiking all the way to the sea on foot.1
