About:Chinese Embassy in Yemen

Where can I get my Visa application processed?

Hi there,
My name is Hisham Al-Ward. I was admitted to University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Agency Number: 10614) and I am financially sponsored by the Chinese Government (CSC scholarship). I was wondering if I can further process my Visa Application here in Yemen, and if not, can I do so at the the Chinese Embassy in Sudan?

I also am planning to take my wife with me, so what are the documents that I should submit and the process that I should follow for that to happen?

Dear, as far as I know, you cannot apply for it in Yemen currently.
If you can get a visa for Sudan, I think you can apply for it from there.
The documents include your passport and copy of its data page, the application form attached with a half-length color photo, your visa for Sudan, the admission letter from the school, JW 201 or JW 202 form, your wife’s passport and your marriage certificate, as well as other relevant documents required by the consular officers. After, submit the application to the embassy of PRC in Sudan to apply for it.

You need to submit a separate application for her and you can submit all the required documents for S1 type along with the application for your work Z type.

Thanks for the prompt response.

As for making it to Sudan, this is very manageable as a visa is not required from Yemenis. As for the required documents, I have already checked the website of the Chinese embassy in Sudan and prepared all the necessary documents, but it is the part about my wife that was not very clear. Do we need to submit a separate application for her (S1?) or will my student X1 type application cover for the two of us?
