About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa Free transit in Sanya

My family are doing a cruise which starts in Hong Kong travels via port of Sanya, PRC, to Vietnma and Singapore. We are docked for 12 hours in Sanya. If we wish to leave the ship and vist the port do we need an entry permit or can we claim free transit?

Dear, so you will go to mainland PRC after the stay in Sanya? If the stay in Sanya and mainland PRC adds up to more than 24 hours, you need to apply for an L type or G type visa. It can be used in both Sanya and mainland. And a single entry is enough.
