About:China Visa

Short stay - what are the visa requirements?

I am a UK citizen living in Hong Kong but want to got to Shanghai for 4 days, do I need an entry permit?

Hi Carrie, as Shanghai has implemented the policy of 144-hour free transit, I advise you to arrange your tour wisely to make you eligible for this policy so that you don't need the entry permit. If you go to Shanghai from HK and then go to Macau or a third country, you will be eligible.
