Subway or taxi in Beijing

What time should we leave hotel every morning to go to Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven if we are taking train or taxi? If we arrived early at these places, any restaurants or cafe nearby to have breakfast? Thanks!!
