About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Different airlines in and out of Shanghai

I'm flying Tokyo - Shanghai on China Eastern, staying 3 nights but less than 72 hours, then flying Air Asia to Yangon. Do I need China visa??

Kevin, you don't need it. By the way, the free stay period in Shanghai has been extended to 144 hours. So you can stay longer if you want to.
