About:Chinese Currency & Money Exchange

Money to take out of China

Hi, I want to be sure the regulations for taking US$ out is the same. As I understand it, I can take up to $5,000 USD OR 20,000 yuan. It is "or" not "and", is that correct? Thanks!

The regulation is that one can take up to USD5,000 'or' CNY20,000 when getting out of CN.
